Liz George is a cartoonist and writer in Los Angeles, raised in India. She has been cartooning since she was 11 and has collaborated with independent fashion, science, and healthcare companies. But Liz's best works can be found in her school textbooks which she drew as a bored, restless student who had no idea what the teachers were talking about. While the West terms this as neurological and learning difficulties, the more academic-oriented East keeps it simple by calling the kid "an idiot". So it was only as a grown woman of 26 years, that she was officially diagnosed with ADHD. And now at 29, she finally learned the "boredom" in school was dyslexia. Since this self-discovery, she has been interested in highlighting these neurological gifts to others.Other topics that interest her are geopolitics, scientific misinformation and immigrant stories.
